ATLANTA, Ga. – The Brewton-Parker men's basketball program hit the road to Atlanta to take on NCAA DI opponent Georgia State in an exhibition game on Tuesday night.
The Barons (1-6) dropped the contest 97-37 against the Panthers (1-0).
How It Happened
- The Panthers opened the game on a 16-2 run with 14 minutes remaining in the half. Georgia State continued to add to their tally throughout the half, closing with a 44-10 lead at the break.
- The second half proved to be similar as the Panthers continued their dominant performance. Georgia State eventually closed out the game with a 60-point lead, holding the Barons to just 37 points.
Inside The Statistics
- Floyd Davis and Antrell Williams led the Barons with seven points apiece. Davis also led with six rebounds.
- Jacob Casola netted six points with Bryce Wilson and TJ Taylor gathering five points each.
- As a team, the Barons shot for just 25.9% (15-of-58) from the field and 21.1% (4-of-19) from beyond the arc.
- The Panthers outrebounded Brewton-Parker 42-37. Georgia State also forced 31 turnovers from the Barons while only giving away 10.

- The bench produced 20 points for Brewton-Parker.
