Ticket Guide

Brewton-Parker College Athletics now employs online ticketing through HomeTown Ticketing. Online ticketing will offer greater convenience and safety, as fans can access their tickets through their email or the HomeTown Fan app, allowing mobile ticket access on smartphones.

As of August 2022, BPC will now be utilizing online ticketing for the following home sporting events:
  • Men's and Women's Soccer
  • Volleyball
  • Men's and Women's Basketball
  • Men’s and Women’s Wrestling
  • Baseball
  • Softball
  • Track & Field
  • Cheerleading

The shift to digital ticketing will provide a safer environment for fans, as well as the ability to forward tickets electronically. Additionally, digital tickets provide greater ease of use for fans who will be able to access and enter venues with the use of their phones. To assist fans through the transition to online ticketing, BPC Athletics is providing frequently asked questions, which can be located below.

BPC students, faculty, and staff will receive free admission to all home athletic events by presenting the current BPC I.D. card at the gate of each athletic facility prior to receiving entry to the event.

Frequently Asked Questions:

WHAT IS CHANGING?

Brewton-Parker Athletics now requires digital tickets for access to athletic events on campus:

Tickets will be accessible online through mobile ticket access on Apple and Android devices as well as through the Hometown Fan app. Fans do have the option to visit bpcathletics.com/tickets to order tickets, which will be delivered to the desired email address. If fans would like to print their tickets and bring them to the event, ticket scanners will be able to scan those printed tickets for entry; however, if fans show up to events without purchasing tickets online ahead of time, a QR code at the gate will direct fans to the online purchasing portal for tickets. Confirmation emails of ticket orders, whether through a computer, phone, or app ordering, will contain the tickets necessary for entry.

BPC students, faculty, and staff will be asked to show their BPC ID upon entry. Other promotional codes can be applied in the process of purchasing general admission tickets.

WHY ARE WE SWITCHING TO ONLINE TICKETING?

Safety:

Online ticketing will allow for a safer gate entry limiting contact between guests and game day staff with scanning capabilities on Apple and Android devices. Furthermore, fans can forward tickets to friends and family, reducing the physical exchange of tickets.

Efficiency:

The streamlining of the gate entry procedure simplifies entry to sporting events.

Ease of Use and Peace of Mind:

With online ticketing, you always have your tickets on you. You may print, download, or transfer at any time. It also reduces anxiety and worry due to lost tickets.

HOW DO I PURCHASE/ACCESS MY TICKETS?

To purchase tickets for an event, anyone can simply navigate to bpcathletics.com/tickets on a computer or smartphone or search for the specific event in the Hometown Fan app on a smart device. After entering the number of tickets one would like to purchase and clicking through the steps to purchase the tickets, fans will be directed through a secure checkout process. After the secure checkout, a confirmation email will be sent with the details of the purchase as well as the tickets for the event. The tickets in this email will be scanned at the gate of athletic events by one of our staff members, allowing for easy access to the event. If fans would prefer to print their tickets at home and bring them to the gate, staff members are also able to scan those printed tickets.

Online ticketing will replace physical ticketing at the gate of BPC home sporting events, but online ordering of tickets will remain available throughout the course of the event for those who arrive at the venue prior to purchasing tickets. There will be a QR code at the gate that can be scanned with a smartphone which will direct patrons to the online ticketing service. Access to internet/phone data will be necessary to purchase tickets going forward as physical tickets will not be available.

WHAT IF I LOSE/DELETE MY TICKET DELIVERY EMAIL?

Simply contact the ticket associate at the gate for assistance on the day of the event or reach out to Aaron Larsen (alarsen@bpc.edu) if the confirmation email is lost before the date of the event.

WHAT IF MY GUEST(S) AND I ARE ARRIVING AT THE VENUE AT DIFFERENT TIMES?

Should a party be arriving at different times, tickets can be shared in the Hometown Fan app, members can screenshot their ticket and send it to their guests, and/or members can send the others in their party an email with their ticket. Regardless of how the ticket is shared, once the ticket is used, no one else will be able to use that same ticket to get into the venue. If members of the party are arriving together, all tickets can be located on the same device and login will not be necessary to share or use them.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE WI-FI CONNECTIVITY ON GAME DAY?

Before arriving at the event, download your tickets to your iPhone or Android device. Once the tickets are downloaded, cellular data or Wi-Fi is not required to access your tickets. If you did not download your tickets in advance and are having trouble accessing the confirmation email or app, please reach out to the ticket associate at the gate for further assistance.

CAN I HAVE MULTIPLE TICKETS ON THE SAME MOBILE DEVICE?

Yes, you can view all your tickets by swiping directionally on your smartphone. We highly encourage that you forward a separate ticket to each member of your party.

WHAT ARE THE DEVICES AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS FOR MOBILE ENTRY?

Online tickets can only be used on smart devices (Apple or Android devices that can access the web-based program via Wi-Fi or cellular data). If there is a concern about mobile entry, we recommend downloading or printing tickets after ordering online ahead of time.

WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE A SMARTPHONE, OR MY BATTERY DIES ON GAME DAY?

For issues in advance of game day, please contact Aaron Larsen (alarsen@bpc.edu) listed in the staff directory under “Inside Athletics” on bpcathletics.com. On game days, please see the ticket attendant working the event and they can assist in getting access to your tickets/order confirmation to check you into the event.

WHO DO I CONTACT IF I STILL NEED ASSISTANCE?

Please contact Aaron Larsen (alarsen@bpc.edu) if you need any other assistance regarding the ticketing process.
