MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Brewton-Parker Christian University Barons golf team competed at the GMC Invitational in Milledgeville on March 2-3, 2026. The Barons competed in the 36-hole tournament and finished in fourth place, improving their score by 4 strokes on the final day. 

The Barons were led by Will McNealy, who shot a 78 on the first day and followed it with a 79 on day two. Grant Reynolds, who went from shooting an 80 on day one to a 77 on day two. James Dugan chipped in with a consistent 78-day one and 79-day two performance. Jonathan Jarvis showed the most improvement for the Barons, who went from shooting 81 on day one to finishing day two with a 77 on his scorecard, helping the Barons make up strokes. 

The Barons will look to carry the momentum and practice gained in this 36-hole competition into their next event, the LTU Spring Tournament at the RTJ Lake course in Auburn, Alabama, on March 10-12, 2026.
