Blairsville, GA — The Brewton-Parker Golf team opened its fall season with individual competition at the TMU Butternut GC event.

With the tournament being played strictly as an individual event, no official team standings were recorded. Eight Barons competed on the day.

Brinson Burdette led Brewton-Parker with a round of 81, followed by Drew with an 85 and Jacob with an 86. Grant Reynolds, James Dugan and Jonathan Jarvis each carded rounds of 88. Rylan finished with a 95, while Brady Nelson rounded out the BPCU competitors with a 97. 

The event gave the Barons their first opportunity of the fall to compete on the course and establish a starting point as they move forward with their schedule.

Brewton-Parker will return to action Sept.14-15 when the Barons travel to Saint Simons , Ga., for the Coastal Fall Invitational Sea Palms GC.
