Brewton-Parker Christian University Athletics has welcomed Dontez King as an assistant coach for both the flag football and women's wrestling programs.

King is no stranger to Brewton-Parker Athletics, having previously worked with the flag football program as a volunteer coach. He brings years of experience in both football and wrestling, giving him a background that will allow him to contribute to both programs.

Along with his experience in athletics, King has served as a strength coach for the U.S. Army, bringing knowledge in strength, conditioning and athlete development to his new roles with the Barons.

King also has a strong connection to the BPCU athletic department through his wife, Paige King, who serves on the university's athletic training staff.

With experience across multiple sports and strength training, King will look to make an impact with both programs while helping Baron student-athletes continue to develop on and off the field and mat.
