LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Brewton-Parker Christian University Barons flag football team traveled to Florida to take on the Royals of Warner University in a Sun Conference flag football showdown. The Barons were outclassed from start to finish and dropped the game 80-0. A dominant performance from the Royals' defense routed and stymied the Barons' offense, preventing them from gaining any momentum. 

The Barons' troubles started early as they had three pick-sixes in the first half of the game. The Barons' offense struggled to move the ball all day and was stopped constantly by the Royals' defense. Defensively, the Barons were unable to stop the high-powered offense, which began with numerous short-field situations. 

The Barons will look to regroup and bounce back as they face off against Webber International University on February 28, 2026.
