The Barons sent several throwers to the Southern Relay Track and Field meet in Statesboro, Ga., on March 21. History was made as Yabaka Moore broke the school record in the hammer throw event. Moore broke the school record with an impressive 44.30m throw to set the new school record.

The team also saw several throwers meet personal records, including Kohlman Greer, Adam Patrick, and Dan Smith. The Barons' team will compete in another event scheduled for March 28, where the team looks forward to building on their recent individual and team success at the Emory Thrills on the Hills.
