Brewton-Parker opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning with Tony Rudolph doubling to put Taz Worrell into scoring position. After a ground out from Matt Collins, Worrell was able to score. BPC closed out the inning with one hit and left two runners on base.

BPC left three runners on base as Calumet managed to hold most of the threat back. After two innings pitched so far, Ty Cook struck out five batters in just seven at-bats.
The third quarter was busy for the Barons as they managed to score seven runs on three hits and took advantage of an error from the Crimson Wave. Brewton-Parker took a commanding 10-0 run and did not look back.

The Crimson Wave was working hard to get more runs on the board being down by such a large margin. Calumet scored three runs in the sixth to make the score 19-4 but the deficit was far too large to recover.
