How It Happened

Brewton-Parker opened the game with just one hit from Tony Rudolph in the first inning as both teams were held scoreless. The Barons struck first with two runs in the top of the second inning. BPC left both Rahn and McDowell on base with an opportunity to score additional runs.

Talladega answered with two runs in the bottom half of the inning to decrease the deficit to just one run behind the Barons. The Tornadoes produced a double just before a two-run homer to make the score 3-2.
