MOUNT VERNON, Ga.  - The Brewton-Parker Christian University Barons prepare to kick off the 2025-26 Indoor track and field season on the road. This will be the first opportunity for the Barons to show off their season improvements from last year's successful season. The Barons kick off the track season with the Jimmy Carnes invitational in Gainesville, Fla. 

The Barons are excited to bring back several standout athletes, both academically and in their events. The Barons are proud to bring back Dan Smith and Kendra Payne. Both earned USTFCCCA Academic All-American honors last season, highlighting their dedication not only to their events but also to the classroom. 

Head Coach Tony Hawkins reflected on his athletes getting recognized and shared his thoughts on the upcoming indoor season. "We are looking forward to continuing the success from last season. Everyone a part of our program understands the expectations we have in place.
