MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - In a thrilling conference clash on January 25, 2025, the Brewton-Parker Barons faced a challenging opponent in the William Carey Crusaders. The intense battle saw both teams locked at 38 points each by halftime, setting the stage for a dramatic second half. The Barons showed some late-game heroics to force overtime, but despite a valiant effort from the Barons, they fell short in overtime with a final score of 106-99 in favor of the Crusaders.
Dre Burroughs led the scoring for Brewton-Parker with a remarkable 27 points, followed by Joseph Ferlin Jr., who added 20 points. Tommy Tisdale III and
Sam Faraday-Bensley also made significant contributions, with 18 and 16 points, respectively. A highlight of the game was
