MOUNT VERNON, GA – The Brewton-Parker Barons basketball team opened their 2024 college basketball season with an impressive comeback victory against the New College of Florida Mighty Banyans on November 1, 2024. Ending with a final score of 91-80, the Barons overcame a halftime deficit to clinch a win in front of their home crowd.
The game, held at Mount Vernon, saw the Barons trailing at halftime with a score of 37-42. However, the second half was dominated by Brewton-Parker, led by standout performances from
Dre Burroughs and
Tommy J Tisdale III.
