Scoring the ball and specifically shooting was a big area of focus this offseason and I felt like we scored the ball well this weekend. We will continue to grow and get better but I won't complain about a 2-0 start," said Coach
Leonard Epps after the game, underscoring the team's dedication to improvement and a strong start to the season.
Additional notable performances include Kendall Norrington and
Grant Sanders, who added depth to the score sheet and were pivotal in both offensive rebounds and strategic defense. The Brewton-Parker Barons now look forward to extending their 2-0 winning streak as they face Campbellsville University on November 8 in Campbellsville, KY.
