ATLANTA, Ga. – Brewton-Parker men's track & field continued action over the weekend by competing at the Emory Thrills in the Hills in Atlanta.
Nathaniel Shields and
Jacob Hackenberry highlighted the trip with top-five finishes. Shields earned fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.15m. As for Hackenberry, he produced a fifth-place finish in the 10,000m event with a time of 36:04.57.
In the discus,
Kanye Fouch finished 11th with a throw of 38.54m. For the 400m hurdles,
Bradley Taylor recorded a time of 57.94s to finish 11th. In the 300m steeple chase, both
DeMario Thomas and
Eric Smith finished inside the top-15.
Thomas recorded a time of 11:08.20 for 12th in the event while Smith recorded a time of 11:26.36 for 14th.
NiShawn Wise produced a 13th-place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 22.31s.
