DANVILLE, Ala. – Brewton-Parker College Women's Cross Country traveled to Danville, Ala. to conclude their season at the SSAC Championship on Saturday morning.

BPC had six runners competing in the 6,000-meter race with a field of 85 runners. The Lady Barons were able to produce a 10th-place finish out of 12 teams.

Brewton-Parker was led by Karen Garcia who had a 41st place finish with a time of 26:58.77 followed by Jayda Spikes who crossed the line next with a time of 29:23.26 for 55th place.

Yecenia Solorzano finished the race in 32:26.39 for a 68th place finish and was followed by Jaleah Rhett who took 69th with a time of 32:34.08.

Kayla Phipps (73rd, 35:18.13) and Anders Ignoffo (76th, 36:51.11) rounded out the Lady Barons.

Saturday afternoon the SSAC Women's Cross Country awards were announced, Ignoffo was given a place on the Champions of Character team for 2023.
