Waleska, Ga — The Brewton-Parker women's soccer team fell to Reinhardt University, 6-1.

Reinhardt jumped out to an early advantage, scoring in the 13th and 17th minutes before adding another goal late in the opening half to take a 3-0 lead into halftime. The Eagles added three more goals in the second half. 

The Lady Barons continued to create opportunities after the break. Gabriela Munoz earned a penalty kick in the 50th minute, but Reinhardt goalkeeper Reagan Horton made the save. Lena Szydlo and Josseline Zamorano also put shots on goal during the second half. 

Brewton-Parker broke through in the final minute when Daria Cwynar found the back of the net at the 89:42 mark, giving the freshman another goal early in her first season with the Lady Barons. 

BPCU finished the match with nine shots, including six on goal, while Reinhardt recorded 20 shots. Munoz led the Lady Barons with five shots, while Cwynar finished with two shots on goal and the team's lone goal. Angel Camacho played all 90 minutes in goal for BPCU with 6 saves. 

The Lady Barons move to 1-2 on the season and will return home to Mount Vernon to take on Spartanburg Methodist College on Wednesday, Sep. 2,
