MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Brewton-Parker Christian University (BPCU)  Barons flag football team hosted the Falcons of Daytona State College on March 13, 2026. Despite their best efforts, the Barons were shut out, losing 27-0. 

The Falcons grabbed control of the game early, scoring on their first drive of the day. The Barons would then buckle down defensively and trade chances and hold the Falcons til the final two minutes of the second quarter. The Barons punted the ball with just over a minute remaining, and the Falcons drove down the field to score with just 10 seconds left to take a 14-0 lead into halftime. 

The second half started with the Barons in possession, but they struggled to move the ball offensively. The Falcons scored on their first drive of the quarter and bled the clock, preventing the Barons from getting the ball back til les than five minutes remained in the third quarter. The Falcons then scored on their first drive of the fourth quarter to ice the game and put it out of reach of the Barons. 

The Barons will host the Seahawks of Keiser University on March 18, 2026, kicking off a four-day run that includes three conference opponents.
