MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Brewton-Parker Christian University Women's Soccer team faced a challenging game against the Georgia Southwestern State University Hurricanes on September 4, 2025. Held in Americus, Ga., the regular season soccer game concluded with a disappointing 5-0 loss for the Barons.
During the first half of the match, the Hurricanes established a lead with a single goal, entering halftime with a score of 1-0 in their favor. The Barons' efforts to turn the tide in the second half were met with resistance as Georgia Southwestern extended its lead significantly. Jordin Gundin of the Hurricanes was particularly effective, scoring two goals, including the game-winning goal. Defensively, the Barons rotated goalkeepers with
