MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - In a tightly contested conference game held on September 27, 2025, at Mount Vernon, Ga., the Brewton-Parker Christian University Barons faced a tough matchup against Thomas University (Ga.) Night Hawks, ending in a narrow 1-0 loss for the Barons.

The game was an opportunity for the Barons to turn their conference record around, but sadly, they fell short. The first half saw several attempts from both sides, but it was Ethan Moore from Thomas University who broke the deadlock. Assisted by Aaron Sindhar, Moore scored the game's only goal, giving them a 1-0 lead that they took into the half. Diego Alejandro Montes Carrera, the goalie for Brewton-Parker, showed commendable skill, making several crucial saves.
