MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Barons softball team traveled to Faulkner to take on the Eagles on March 21, 2025, in Montgomery, Ala. The Barons dropped both games, losing game one 4-3 and game two 6-0. The losses move the Barons' season record to 10-15-1.

Hannah Rust crossed the plate, contributing to the team's scoring efforts. Key RBIs were driven in by

Alyssa Usrey, who each ensured the Barons remained competitive throughout the game. Starting pitcher
Peyton Dorn put up a tough fight, showing determination and skill on the mound. In game two, the Barons were unable to do much of anything, struggling to get anything going.
Brewton-Parker will look to bounce back in their next game, scheduled for March 28, 2025, in Mount Vernon against the University of Mobile. The team will focus on sharpening its offensive strategies and hope to improve its standing in the conference.
