Lady Barons Dominate Fillies on the Road

MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - In a commanding performance, the Brewton-Parker Lady Barons cruised to a 97-57 win against the Abraham Baldwin Fillies on February 20, 2025, in Tifton, GA. This dominant SSAC conference victory highlighted the Lady Barons' cohesive play and dominant strategies, significantly improving their season record to 14-12 overall and 10-5 in conference play.

Chasity Degale led Brewton-Parker in scoring with 23 points, followed by strong performances from Jakayla Peeples and Destanee Wright, who both added 14 points. Wright also led in rebounds with 9, showcasing her versatility on the court. The first half ended with Brewton-Parker ahead, with a solid lead of 44-23, setting the pace for the rest of the game.

The game started with Brewton-Parker establishing an early lead, featuring notable plays including Kaziah Terrell's three-pointer. By halftime, the Lady Barons built a substantial 21-point lead.
