Head Coach
Steve Edwards of Brewton-Parker expressed his thoughts on the game, "Today was a test for our group to see if we could beat a really good team on the road. We didn't compete at a high level in the second half of the game Today. We didn't respond well. Our teams traditionally compete better than what we displayed Today. I will do a better job of making sure we are ready to go.
Today was a test of effort, energy, and basketball character. If we are going to finish strong, we have to get to a place where we are connected, and we play our brand of basketball on both sides of the ball. We finish the regular season next week. We need to take care of next week to gain momentum going into the postseason tournament. I will make sure we are locked in and ready to compete."
The Barons look ahead to their next game against Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) on February 20, 2025, in Tifton, Ga., as they aim to bounce back and close the regular season on a high note. With a current record of 13-12, 9-5 in the conference, the team is focused on refining their strategies and performance for the upcoming postseason tournament.
