MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Barons traveled to face off against the Faulkner Eagles on February 1, 2025, at Tine Davis Gymnasium. Despite a hard-fought battle, the Barons fell to the Eagles with a final score of 82-99. The Baron's struggles in conference play continues.
The Barons went into the break trailing the Eagles with a score of 40-52. Efforts to close the gap were evident as Brewton-Parker's top performers,
Tommy J Tisdale III and
Dre Burroughs, scored 29 and 23 points, respectively. Tisdale III also contributed with two rebounds, four assists, and a block, which shows his versatility on the court. Additional support came from
Grant Sanders, who notched a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds, along with three blocks. Despite these standout performances, the Barons struggled to keep up with the Eagles' scoring. The team's current record now stands at 6-16, and they are 2-10 in the conference.
Looking ahead, the Barons will take to the court against Point University on February 6, 2025, on the road. This matchup will be an opportunity for the Barons to refine their strategies and try to get back in the win column.
