Head Coach
Steve Edwards reflected on the team's performance with pride despite the loss. "We love playing elite competition, and today was an example of that. We outplayed #18 Cumberlands (Ky.) for three quarters. Cumberlands is the best group we've played this season, and I thought we competed well all night. We are getting better, and we believe these tough non-conference games will help prepare us for conference play after the break. We play another top 25 team tomorrow, and we look forward to the challenge."
Looking ahead, the Lady Barons aim to regroup as they face Southeastern University at The Furnace on December 16, 2025, continuing their quest for improvement and success in the challenging upcoming competition.
