MOUNT VERNON, Ga.  – The Brewton-Parker Christian University Barons men's wrestling team is thrilled to announce that Zahquel Davis is ranked 9th nationally for the 184lbs division. With a 1-0 record to start the season, Zahquel Davis is building off a stellar freshman year in which he qualified for the National Tournament. After beginning the preseason ranked 10th nationally, he has held his place and now advances to 9th after week three.

Looking ahead, Zahquel and the Barons will compete at the Rocky Top Duals in Tennessee on December 13, 2025. The Barons will battle #12 University of the Cumberlands, Avila University, and (RV) Georgetown College. The Barons wrestling team will get a chance to test itself against some of the best competition from across the country. 

The Duals will unfold at Rocky Top Sports World in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. After the weekend, the Barons will host Rochester Christian University for their last home match before the Christmas break on December 16, 2025, at 7 pm in Gillis Gymnasium.

The Barons will compete one last time at the Battle of the Bluegrass in Williamsburg, Kentucky, on December 19, 2025.  The event is hosted by the University of the Cumberlands.
