MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - On October 4, 2025, the Brewton-Parker Christian University Barons men's soccer team faced a tough conference match against Mobile University Rams in Mount Vernon, GA. The game concluded with the Barons on the losing side, 6-0 against the Rams.
The first half saw Mobile taking a significant lead, with the scoreboard reading Mobile 4, Brewton-Parker 0 by halftime. During the second half, the Rams continued their dominance, maintaining a strong defense and capitalizing on opportunities to widen the lead to 6-0.
Brewton-Parker's head coach, Bob Nuemann, commented on the team's performance, expressing significant disappointment. "As a coach, I've never been more embarrassed by a performance in my life. We were awful from the start; tactically, all over the place, technically, we lacked sharpness, and physically, we were second best. We apologize to those who came to support us today. We didn't live up to the standards of being a Baron."
Looking forward, the Barons will travel to Dalton, GA, to face Dalton State College on October 10, 2025. The team currently holds a record of 1-11-0 in the season and 0-6-0 in the conference.
