MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Brewton-Parker Christian University men's soccer team faced a tough conference match against the #1 Dalton State College Roadrunners on October 10, 2025, at Dalton Stadium. Despite a strong performance, the Barons were unable to stop the best team in the nation, falling to the Roadrunners in a final score of 3-1.

During the first half of the game, the Roadrunners took an early lead of 1-0 that they would carry into halftime. The Barons fought hard and tried to even the score, but were unable to overcome the defense of Dalton State.

In the second half, Dalton's State continued to bring the pressure, adding to their goal totals. Brewton-Parker's Lazar Milosavljevic managed to squeeze one past Roadrunners' defenders, marking the only score for the Barons. The Barons' goalkeeper, Diego Alejandro Montes Carrera, faced an intense battle throughout the game, parrying multiple attempts. Despite his efforts, the solid Roadrunners' offense proved too formidable, resulting in a final score of 3-1.
