MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - In an intense conference battle on their home court in Mount Vernon, the Brewton-Parker Barons faced off against the Life Running Eagles on December 6, 2024. Despite a hard-fought effort, the Barons were unable to secure a win, falling 78-88 to the Running Eagles.

The game saw Brewton-Parker trailing at the half with a score of 31-40. By the final whistle, despite outscoring Life in the second half, Brewton-Parker could not bridge the gap, and Life clinched the victory. Top scorer for the Barons, Dre Burroughs, showcased his skills by notching 23 points along with 4 rebounds. He was supported by Sam Faraday-Bensley, who contributed 12 points and 9 rebounds, and Ferlin Joseph Jr., who added 11 points and 3 rebounds.
