This regular season encounter saw the Barons rally to defeat the Bears, improving their head to head season record to 1-2.

Keyshaun Taylor particularly shifted the momentum in favor of the Barons after overturning an initial defeat in the first match. His victory was a turning point, igniting the team's competitive spirit for the remainder of the evening.

Tyler Smith expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance, stating, "It was an exciting dual environment tonight, with great fan support! A lot of our guys are buying into the things we are working on at practice and they are showing up in big moments." He also commented on the privilege of hosting a heated high school rivalry dual that preceded their dual, adding, "Hosting the historic rivalry dual between Toombs and Vidalia was exciting. It was an impressive match to watch, and we appreciate their fans bringing the same energy for our dual last night."
The Barons hosted the historic rivalry dual between Toombs County High School and Vidalia High School and the crows turnout was unmatched. The atmosphere was electric and tense as the bitter rivals battled it out. The dual saw Toombs come away with a commanding victory of 72-9 with several weight classes for Vidalia not being able to wrestle.
The Barons will look to carry their winning momentum to their next event, a double feature against St. Andrews University and Coker on December 7, 2024. As the season progresses, the Barons continue to strive for excellence and improve their team dynamics, aiming for more victories on and off the matt.
