MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Barons Men's Soccer continued their campaign traveling to Thomas University to take on the Night Hawks Saturday. The Barons managed to hold off the Nigh Hawks for the first 28 minutes before conceding the first goal of the match and eight minutes later conceded another goal to go into half down two-nil. The second half continued much like the first with Thomas scoring three unanswered goals to win the match five-nil.
Coach Bob Neuman shared his thoughts on their tough loss: "These are the types of experiences that young players need to face. Everything is earned in the SSAC, and you need to find a way to play with purpose and togetherness to achieve success.
The boys are, of course, disappointed, but it should hopefully serve as a valuable lesson for their development moving forward,"
