MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker cheerleading student-athlete Taylor Radford has been announced as one of the members of the 2023 SSAC Barnes & Noble College Competitive Cheer Scholar-Athlete Team.

Radford earns the recognition as one of seven honorees on the team. At the time of submission, Radford boasted a 3.61 GPA while studying as an Early Childhood Education major. She currently serves as a member of the SSAC Student Leadership Council and was selected as an Academic All-SSAC member.

"Taylor is amazing," Head Coach Keri Nester said. "This was the first year of competitive cheer for Taylor and she has given everything to our program while having an amazing attitude. She is a dual athlete at BPC and for her to receive this honor is a testament to all her hard work."

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA, and have competed in 50% of the competitions.
