MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Brewton-Parker women's basketball traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to take part in the SSAC Women's Basketball Championship in a quarterfinal matchup against Stillman (Ala.) on Thursday night.

The No. 3-seeded Lady Barons (22-6) defeated the No. 6-seeded Tigers (16-13) in a tough battle at the Multiplex, advancing to the semis with a 55-44 victory.

"Postseason wins are tough to get, and we found a way to get things done tonight," Head Coach Steve Edwards said. "We didn't have our best stuff tonight, which had much to do with Stillman. We will get a little rest and toss it up again tomorrow."
