MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker Women's Wrestling traveled up to Lynchburg, Virginia over the weekend to compete in a quad meet hosted by NWCA opponent Liberty (Va.).
The Lady Barons swept the meet, winning their matches against Liberty, NCAA Division III Utica (N.Y.), and NCAA Division II Emory & Henry (Va.).

In the dual against Liberty, Brewton-Parker produced a 38-11 victory over the hosts. The Lady Barons notched three forfeit wins and gave up one in the process. As for the scoring, Tashayla West opened with a pin at 116 before
Tatiana Garcia notched a 12-2 tech fall to give BPC a 9-1 team advantage.
At 136,
Kathleen Fisher pinned her opponent and was followed by a 10-0 tech from
Jorie Richardson at 143. With an 18-1 lead, BPC gave up five team points in the 155 match as
Kaylee Easter was pinned.
India Page closed out the dual at 170 with a fall to give BPC the final five points before adding in the three forfeits for the 38-11 final score.
How It Happened | BPC vs Emory & Henry
BPC took down Emory & Henry in a 30-18 victory, giving up 10 points by forfeit to the Wasps while
Elora Waterman, Fisher, and Richardson earned forfeit wins in 101, 130, and 136, respectively.
Jaelynn Sunseri scored a fall in the 109 bout before West was teched in the 116 match. Garcia followed up with a pin at 123 while Easter was teched at 155. BPC closed out with a pin from Page to secure the win.

Richardson notched a 10-0 tech at 143 followed by a 10-0 tech from Easter at 155 and a fall from Page at 170. The Lady Barons gathered five forfeits as well to secure a clean 38-0 victory over Utica.
