MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker Women's Volleyball hosted Pensacola Christian (Fla.) for non-conference action on Tuesday night in Gillis Gymnasium.
The Lady Barons (4-16) dropped the match vs the Eagles (11-10) in four sets.
How It Happened
Brewton-Parker battled early in the opening set and moved in control of the match with a four-point run to lead 11-9. The Lady Barons pulled away to an 18-12 lead and advanced to a 24-17 lead before the Eagles clawed their way back into the set. BPC was able to hold off the surge to win 25-22.
Pensacola Christian managed to level the match with a tight second set, gaining control late and fending off the Lady Barons to secure a 27-25 victory. The visitors would eventually take the match with a 25-22 win in set three and a 25-20 win in the fourth set.

- Despite dropping the match, BPC controlled nearly all of the team comparisons in the box score.
- BPC led 58-56 in total points while also leading 45-42 in kills with a .152 attacking percentage.
- Defensively, BPC held a 7-4 block advantage as well as a narrow 63-62 dig edge over PCC.
- Amme Mobley led the match with 14 kills followed by Kinsley Jordan and Jalisia Famber with 11 kills each.
- Harley Rush led the Lady Barons with five blocks while Jelisa Alexander led with a match-high 39 assists.
