MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker Volleyball returned home to Gillis Gymnasium over the weekend for a pair of matches against SSAC opponents, Faulkner (Ala.) and Mobile (Ala.).
On Friday night, the Lady Barons (1-13, 1-6 SSAC) fell 3-0 to Faulkner (13-6, 3-2 SSAC) before dropping Saturday's match 3-0 to Mobile (13-5, 5-1 SSAC).
How It Happened vs Faulkner
- The Eagles secured the match in straight sets winning, 25-14, 25-15, and 25-10.
- In the first two sets, Faulkner took commanding leads early.
- BPC battled early for the third set, scoring the first three points.
- The Lady Barons held within a pair of scores until the Eagles eventually pulled away to win by 15 points in the final set.
- Brewton-Parker's best performance of the match was during set two as the Lady Barons produced a .148 hitting percentage with seven kills.

- Faulkner led the way with 39 kills on a .313 hitting percentage while Brewton-Parker produced just 17 kills.
- Naomi Taake led BPC with six kills and 12 digs while Katy Mathis led with 15 assists.

- Mobile started out fast and never looked back for three straight sets.
- The Rams took a 1-0 lead with a 25-7 performance in the opening set and followed with back-to-back set scores of 25-11 to secure the sweep over the Lady Barons.
