MARIETTA, Ga. – Brewton-Parker Volleyball returned to play on Tuesday night after a 10-day break away from competition with a road trip to Life (Ga.) in Marietta.
The Lady Barons (1-14, 1-7 SSAC) battled against the Running Eagles (6-7, 3-5 SSAC) in a 3-1 loss.
How It Happened
- Life opened the match with a dominant 25-9 first set, producing a .414 hitting percentage with 15 kills.
- Brewton-Parker won set two 25-18 to level the match. The Lady Barons managed to lead the entire set.
- The Running Eagles answered with a win in set three, capturing the set 25-18 over BPC.
- Life then secured the match with a 25-15 win in set four.

- The Running Eagles produced a total of 56 kills with a high of 17 in the fourth set. As a team, Life notched a .288 hitting percentage with their best effort being in the final set with a .533 hitting percentage.
- The Lady Barons finished with 16 kills and a hitting percentage of .009. BPC's best performance of the night was in set four with eight kills and a .269 hitting percentage.
- Kaitlin Reynolds led BPC with five kills while Katy Mathis led with four aces and 10 assists.
- Kinsley Jordan led with 12 digs followed by Tanner Lallman with 10.
