MOUNT VERNON, Ga. -- The Brewton-Parker Volleyball program continued Southern States Athletic Conference play with a matchup against (RV) Loyola (La.) on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Barons (0-9, 0-2 SSAC) dropped the match in straight sets to the Wolf Pack (9-5, 2-0 SSAC).
How It Happened
- Loyola opened set one quickly, jumping out to an early 6-0 lead. BPC struggled to produce an attack in the set as Loyola secured set one, 25-7.
- Brewton-Parker began battling in the second set, going back and forth with the Wolf Pack. Unfortunately, Loyola pulled away late in the set to win 25-18.
- The Wolf Pack continued to separate themselves in the third set, eventually winning the match in straight sets with a 25-13 set three win.
Inside The Statistics
- Loyola produced 44 kills with Brewton-Parker producing 21. The Wolf Pack recorded a .306 hitting percentage while the Lady Barons recorded just a .070 percentage.
- Kaitlin Reynolds led BPC with 10 kills while also notching six assists.
- Katy Mathis Led with eight assists while Kinsley Jordan led with 13 digs followed by Tanner Lallman with 12 digs.
