TALLADEGA, Ala. -- The Brewton-Parker Volleyball program traveled to Talladega, Alabama to continue Southern States Athletic Conference play with a matchup against Talladega on Tuesday night.
The Lady Barons (0-10, 0-3 SSAC) dropped the match in straight sets to the Tornadoes (7-3, 1-1 SSAC) despite battling in the second and third sets.
How It Happened
- After an early back and forth between both sides, Talladega began pulling away from the Lady Barons to eventually take the opening set 25-14.
- Set two was a battle between both sides as Brewton-Parker was able to answer point for point. After securing a 21-20 lead, BPC slipped in the final moments of the set as the Tornadoes closed out with five straight points to win 25-21.
- Talladega jumped out to an early 5-1 lead in set three, but the Lady Barons were able to remain in the set, equalizing the score at 15-15.
- BPC took control of the set 22-18, but Talladega outscored the Lady Barons 7-1 to seal the three-set sweep.
