MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker Men's Soccer hosted SCAD-Savannah (Ga.) on Tuesday night.
The Barons (0-1-1) struggled against the Bees (1-3) in a 3-0 loss on home turf.
"SCAD deserve all of the credit," Head Coach
Bob Neumann said. "They came in and worked incredibly hard for the result. We didn't do enough to make things difficult for them."
"Appologies to our supporters for the poor performance, as always we appreciate the support," Neumann added.
How It Happened | First Half
- SCAD broke free in the 27th minute with a goal from James Holmes. With a 1-0 deficit, the Barons managed to hold the Bees to just one shot for the remainder of the half.
- Both sides were nearly identical in shots, with the Bees holding a slight 4-3 advantage in total shots for the first 45 minutes of play.
How It Happened | Second Half
- The Bees were able to swarm the Barons in the second half with a total of 13 shots versus BPC's five attempts.
- SCAD netted two goals in the period with the first coming off a misplaced header from the BPC defense. Sven Marnot attempted to clear out the ball, but Holmes managed to deflect the ball and slot home the second goal of the night.
- The Bees netted the third goal in the 67th minute with a shot from outside the 18yd box to secure a three-goal lead.

- SCAD totaled 17 shots on the night with nine on frame with BPC recording eight total shots and one on goal.
- Landon Brafford, Cesar Lopez, and Derventz Altidor all recorded two shots apiece with Lopez notching the lone shot on goal.
- Marnot tallied six saves on the night with five coming in the second half.
- The Bees led with 19 fouls compared to the Barons' 11.
