Box Score MOUNT VERNON, Ga. -- The Brewton-Parker men's soccer program fell to No. 15-ranked Mobile (Ala.) 9-0 on Monday afternoon.
The Barons (3-9-1, 2-2 SSAC) were unable to hold off the Crusaders (9-2, 3-0 SSAC) to drop the second SSAC match this season.
How It Happened
- The Crusaders quickly opened the scoreline with two goals in the 5th and 11th minutes to lead 2-0.
- The Barons were able to hold off the WCU attack until the Crusaders broke through in the 42nd minute to lead 3-0 just before the break.
- In the first half, William Carey garnered 15 shots while Brewton-Parker gathered four.
- Only a few minutes would pass in the second half before WCU notched another score. The Crusaders moved their lead to 4-0 in the 49th minute.
- William Carey was able to continue pressuring on the attack to score in the 57th, 62nd, 71st, 72nd, and 88th minutes to ultimately take the match 9-0.
- The WCU attack produced 12 shots while BPC recorded three.
