Brewton-Parker Christian University

Marco Macias enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Brewton-Parker Christian University indoor volleyball program while also leading the development of the university’s new beach volleyball program, which is set to begin competition in January 2027.

Macias brings more than 15 years of coaching experience along with an extensive international playing background. A former member of Mexico’s Men’s National Indoor and Beach Volleyball Teams, he competed in the 2016 Rio Olympic qualifying process and represented Mexico at events including the FIVB World Championships, FIVB World League, FIVB World Beach Tour, World University Games and NORCECA Continental Championships.

Since transitioning into coaching, Macias has focused on player development and building programs. His collegiate coaching experience includes serving as an assistant coach at Florida State College at Jacksonville, and he also built Savannah Volleyball Elite, a club program in Savannah, Georgia.

At Brewton-Parker, Macias continues to assist with the indoor program while preparing Baron Beach Volleyball for its inaugural season in 2027.
