Brewton-Parker Christian University

Glendon Russell has been part of Brewton-Parker since 2017, first joining the school as a dual-enrollment student. He later became one of the founding members of the BPCU esports program and was the program’s first athlete in 2020.

Russell graduated from Brewton-Parker in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. His time as both a student and athlete helped shape the way he approaches coaching and leadership.

Now serving as Director of Esports, Russell focuses on helping student-athletes grow not only as competitors, but also in character, faith and teamwork. His coaching style is centered around encouragement, accountability and helping athletes develop both in and outside of competition.

Russell also enjoys serving in the church through worship and tech and continues to make Christian discipleship a big part of his coaching philosophy.
