Brewton-Parker Christian University

Keri Nester has been part of Brewton-Parker since 2019 and became the Head Cheerleading Coach in 2020. She was named Senior Women’s Leader in 2022 and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director of Business Operations in 2026.

Keri is entering her eighth season of coaching and has helped the cheer program continue to grow. In 2025, BPCU had three All-Conference selections, the SSAC Flyer of the Year and the SSAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

In 2026, the team posted the highest score in program history, earned its first-place finish at the Virtual College Classic, had five athletes named All-Conference and received the SSAC Team Sportsmanship Award. Nester was also named the 2026 SSAC Woman of the Year.

She graduated from Valdosta State University in 2014 with a degree in Business Management and later earned a degree in Accounting from Brewton-Parker in 2022.

Keri and her husband, Justin, have two children, Bryson and Jameson.
