Brewton-Parker Christian University

Aaron Larsen was announced as the Head Coach of Brewton-Parker College Baseball on June 16, 2015, and has been at the helm of the Barons’ program since. He also serves as Associate Athletic Director and Head Groundskeeper for the Athletics Department here in Mount Vernon.

The native of Fallbrook, California began his coaching career at Bethany College (Kan.) as an assistant coach and was named the Interim Head Coach for the 2013-14 season. After serving at Bethany College, Larsen made a brief stop as a pitching coach at Graceland University (Iowa) for the 2014-15 season before accepting the call to lead the BPC program.

As a player, Larsen was drafted by the Oakland Athletics and competed as a Minor League arm in 2010. He competed for two seasons before becoming a coach. He is also a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) as well as the Association of Professional Ball Players of America (APBPA).

Larsen holds three undergraduate degrees from Bethany College (Business Management, Finance, and Operations Management) as well as a graduate degree in Sports Management from Pittsburg State University.
