Diego Alejandro Mont, the goalie for Brewton-Parker, made a commendable effort with six saves throughout the match. However, the team's struggle was compounded by disciplinary issues, with multiple yellow cards and a red card given to
Ilyas Nazih.
Head Coach
Bob Neumann shared his opinion on the team's performance. "It's not the result you want, but the performance was a step in the right direction. SCAD has a lot of weapons going forward, and we found a way to limit their production from open play. As we grow our way into the season, it's good to see the boys getting themselves up after the midweek match.
As I said to the players, it's a process, if we can utilize the amount of work we put in as a springboard, the results will start to swing in our favor."
Looking forward, the Barons hope to recover from their current 1-3-0 record as they prepare to face Keiser University in Mount Vernon on September 13, 2025.
