MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - On September 20, 2025, the Brewton-Parker Christian University women's volleyball team faced off against the William Carey Crusaders in a tough conference game held in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Despite a valiant effort, the Barons lost in straight sets to the Crusaders.
The game began with the Barons trying to establish a rhythm, but they fell short in the first set with a score of 16-25. The pattern continued into the second and third sets, where they lost 17-25 in each, showing consistency but unable to turn the tide of the match. Notably, the lead changed hands four times in the third set, highlighting a resilient effort from the Barons, but they were unable to overcome the Crusaders' offense.
