MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - On September 20, 2025, the Brewton-Parker Christian University women's volleyball team faced off against the William Carey Crusaders in a tough conference game held in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Despite a valiant effort, the Barons lost in straight sets to the Crusaders.

The game began with the Barons trying to establish a rhythm, but they fell short in the first set with a score of 16-25. The pattern continued into the second and third sets, where they lost 17-25 in each, showing consistency but unable to turn the tide of the match. Notably, the lead changed hands four times in the third set, highlighting a resilient effort from the Barons, but they were unable to overcome the Crusaders' offense.

Key players for Brewton-Parker included Taylor Lamontagne, who led with nine kills and added six digs. Adriana De Jesus contributed significantly with six kills and a block, while Amme Mobley was notable for her three blocks and led the team with two aces. Raphaela Felisberto facilitated the offensive efforts with 16 assists, demonstrating her crucial role in the team's setup.
