The Lady Barons competed against Division I athletes. The game saw the Lady Barons give their best efforts against a superior opponent and showed some promising flashes. The Gamecocks defeated the Lady Barons, 60-35, but it was an excellent opportunity to face players at a higher level.
Head Coach Steve Edwards reflected on the team's performance. "We were really good defensively tonight. It's always fun playing against Division 1 teams. Jax State is so well coached. We were a few 3s away from making the game really interesting. Exhibition games are an opportunity for us to compete and get better. We did just that today. Proud of our girls."

The Lady Barons are scheduled to play in a Classic in Lakeland, Fla., December 15-16, 2025, where they will face stiff competition from Southeastern University and the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.). These will be the final regular-season games for the Lady Barons before the Christmas break.
