Barons Take Down Wolves

MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Brewton-Parker Christian University Barons women's volleyball team clinched a decisive 3-0 victory against the Wesleyan Wolves on November 4, 2025, in Macon, Ga. The non-conference match saw the Barons dominating across all three sets against their opponents.

The opening set began with the Barons establishing a strong lead, taking it 25-13. Their momentum did not wane in the second set, which they won 25-15, mirroring the score in the final third set. This consistent performance secured a comprehensive win for Brewton-Parker.

Key players for Brewton-Parker included Adriana Dejesus, Amme Mobley, and Genesis Edwards, each contributing five kills. The defensive efforts were led by Ryann Prince, who recorded three blocks. Alana Garcia made notable defensive moves, racking up 12 digs throughout the match.

The Brewton-Parker Barons also showcased strong serving skills, accumulating a total of 17 aces, highlighting their strategic play. Tailor Lamontagne stood out with her all-around performance, achieving five aces, 18 assists, and contributing to the team's defensive efforts with six digs.

Head Coach Obed Quiles shared his thoughts on the team's performance after the game. "I'm proud of how we have been performing these last few games. Excited to see the response from the team and look forward to how we can carry it into the rest of the season and the future."

Following this victory, the Brewton-Parker Barons women's team is preparing for their next game on November 7, 2025, at Gillis Gymnasium, facing off against Loyola (No.). The Barons are determined to improve their current season record of 3-19.
