MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker Women's Soccer hosted Columbia International (S.C) on Monday evening for the second match of the season.
The Lady Barons (0-2) were overwhelmed by the Rams (1-1) who outmatched BPC with a 4-0 scoreline.
"It was a tough game to play today against a decent opponent," Head Coach
Phillip Borde said. "We are in a phase where we have some key injuries and players missing."
"The girls that were able to contribute today worked extremely hard and we must move on to the next one," Borde added.
How It Happened | First Half
It was all CIU early as the visitors got on the board within the opening 10 minutes, netting a goal at the 7:49 mark before following up with another in the 19th minute as well as a third in the 20th minute.
The Rams produced a powerful 18 shots in the first half with a total of seven shots on frame while holding the Lady Barons to zero shot attempts.
How It Happened | Second Half
The visitors continued to produce chances in the second half but were held shut from another goal until the 83rd minute for a 4-0 advantage.
Naphtaline Clermeus and the BPC backline held strong despite giving up a total of eight shots on goal, which included the final score.

- CIU outshot BPC by a margin of 30-0 and held a 15-0 advantage in shots on goal.
- Clermeus finished the match with a total of 10 saves while Kathleen Fisher notched a brilliant defensive effort at the 17:39 mark.
