MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Brewton-Parker softball traveled to Montgomery to take on Faulkner in SSAC play on Saturday.
The Lady Barons (12-10) split the doubleheader against the Eagles (12-11) with a 6-0 defeat in game one and a 5-0 win in game two.

Faulkner put together runs in the first, third, fifth, and sixth innings to defeat the Lady Barons with a 6-0 advantage. Brewton-Parker struggled in the opening contest, failing to register a hit until the top of the third inning with
Ashley Wilson earning a base hit.
BPC produced a hit in the sixth from a single off the bat of
Alyssa Usrey with
MacKenzie Tripp notching a single in the seventh. Faulkner secured the game and handed the Lady Barons their fifth scoreless outing of the season.

Brewton-Parker essentially flipped the script in game two with a 5-0 shutout victory. Despite not holding the lead in hits, BPC utilized four runs in the sixth inning and a solo score in the seventh to pick up the win.
Abbey Flowers barreled an RBI double to get things heated up for the Lady Barons before
Chloe Strickland produced an RBI single to boost the lead to two runs.
Skylar Strickland followed up by reaching on an error, and thus, scoring two more runs.
Lastly, Flowers brought home a run with an RBI single to move to a 5-0 lead in the seventh inning.
Inside the Statistics
- The Eagles held a narrow 8-7 hit advantage.
- Flowers led with three hits and a pair of RBIs while Chloe Strickland connected for two hits and an RBI.
- Natalie O'Neal remains undefeated in all competitions with a 4-0 record, giving up eight hits and walking one batter while keeping things scoreless.
